The home is sanctified by the presence of the founder, Rev. Fr. Abraham Kaippanplackal. It is a home for the aged men. The founder spent the last moments of his life along with the destitute aged men here. 60 aged men are cared in this home of God with love and care of Snehagiri Sisters. The sisters give them care, affection and protection and make them prepared for the peaceful death. The life here give them a meaning and consolation that they have lost from the family.

It is a place of holiness to the people who visit the home. The room of the founder is visited by many people from different parts of the world, requesting his intercession. The room , where the holy priest spent the last days is kept holy and all his belongings are visible to the visitors. The tomb of the founder is in the cemetery of St. Mary’s Church Lalam, Pala.
