Karuna Bhavan is the 100th house of love to Snehagiri. It is the birth Centinary Memorial of the founder, Rev. Fr. Abraham Kaippanplackal. Kochuparackal Mr. Paulose and Mrs. Eleykutty, the childless couples, donated their house and land to Snehagiri Sisters in 2008 and the convent started there along with the care of this aged couples and parish services. Later in 2013, a new home for the aged men and women was built with the financial support of many generous people. It is a realization of the dream of the founder to start a new home for 100 aged people in memory of his centenary. It was blessed by His Excellency Mar Joseph Kallarangattu. The centenary celebration of the founder was conducted with the blessing of Karuna Bhavan. 20 Aged men and 25 aged women are protected in this home at present. The sisters unconditionally dedicate themselves for the service of this poor aged people in this home. Also they are engaged in the different services of the parish of Koothattukulam. |
